We are hiring an experienced and safety-driven Control Room Operator (CRO) to oversee central control room (CCR) and process operations at our plant facility in Raigarh. The candidate will manage, monitor, and optimize plant processes using DCS/SCADA systems to ensure safe, secure, and efficient continuous operations.

Role & responsibilities

- Process Monitoring: Continuously track process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rates, levels) via DCS/SCADA to ensure uninterrupted and stable operations.
- Operational Control: Remotely adjust setpoints, regulate control valves, and execute equipment start/stop sequences to meet target output and quality standards.
- Alarm Management: React swiftly to system alarms, troubleshoot process deviations, and implement prompt corrective actions to stabilize operations.
- Field Coordination: Maintain continuous two-way communication via radio with field operators, maintenance crews, and shift in-charges to coordinate equipment isolation, maintenance, and startup/shutdown workflows.
- Emergency Handling: Serve as the focal point of control during plant upset conditions or emergencies; execute safe shutdown procedures and lead CCR emergency responses.




- Data Logging & Reporting: Maintain detailed electronic shift logs of process changes, equipment status, and operational events; prepare end-of-shift production and incident reports.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate operational trends to identify opportunities for efficiency gains, energy savings, and cost reduction while safeguarding quality.
- Safety & Compliance: Operate all controls strictly within defined Safe Operating Limits (SOL) in full adherence to industrial safety and environmental guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Diploma or B.Tech / B.E. in Instrumentation, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 3 to 8 years of operational experience in continuous process plants or heavy manufacturing industries (e.g., Steel, Power, Chemicals, Cement).
- Technical Expertise: Direct, hands-on proficiency in operating Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and SCADA consoles.
- Core Competencies: Quick problem-solving abilities, high alertness, composure under pressure, and clear communication for cross-functional coordination.
