About Cairo Cafe

Cairo Cafe is looking for a skilled and experienced Continental Chef to join our kitchen team. We are seeking someone passionate about food, creative with presentation, and experienced in preparing a variety of Continental dishes.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling kitchen operations, maintaining food quality, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of Continental dishes, including pasta, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, starters, and main courses.
- Develop and maintain consistency in food taste, quality, and presentation.
- Manage daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain proper food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Monitor kitchen inventory, manage food wastage, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Maintain portion control and follow standard recipes.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and service.
- Suggest new dishes and contribute to menu development.

Requirements




- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Continental Chef or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Continental cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Experience in preparing café-style food, including pasta, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, and starters.
- Ability to independently manage kitchen responsibilities.
- Good understanding of food hygiene, kitchen management, and inventory control.
- Passion for cooking, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment.
