Location: Chennai

Experience: 10 -12 years overall, with 5+ years in Configuration Management, CMDB governance or ITSM

About the role

We are hiring a Configuration Management Consultant to strengthen CMDB governance, data quality and service modelling across a global technology organization. This is a functional, advisory and process-led role. It is not a ServiceNow development position.

Key responsibilities

- Drive CMDB governance, CI ownership and accountability across Application, Service and CI Owners
- Identify and remediate stale, duplicate, orphaned or unowned CIs using CMDB Health
- Facilitate CSDM workshops to define business applications and application and technical services
- Embed accurate CI usage across Incident, Problem, Change,



Asset and Service Portfolio processes
- Prepare audit evidence and governance reports for operational and leadership audiences

Requirements

- 10+ years in IT, including 5+ years in Configuration Management, CMDB governance or ITSM
- Hands-on experience with CMDB remediation, CSDM adoption or service modelling
- Functional knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, CMDB Health and CSDM
- Experience facilitating workshops and working with global teams
- Strong communication and the ability to influence without direct authority

Valuable to have

ITIL 4 certification

ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM or CSDM training

Manufacturing, consumer products or life sciences background
