About Us:

Join a team that is redefining the accessibility of space. Azista space is a transformative force in the global aerospace sector, uniquely positioned at the intersection of indigenous innovation and industrial scalability. Operating India’s first private-sector satellite mass-production facility in Ahmedabad, we have bridged the gap between complex engineering and high-volume manufacturing.

As a vertically integrated leader, we provide end-to-end solutions from the precision design of satellite buses and advanced payloads to mission management and communication systems. We don’t just build hardware, we are democratizing the final frontier by providing global clientele with the cost-effective, high-performance technology needed to power the next generation of orbital missions. At Azista, you won't just be starting a job, you’ll be fuelling the future of space exploration.

JOB SUMMARY:

In this role, you will focus purely on core communication principles, signal processing fundamentals, and system-level link performance, operating above the level of lab-bench testing or physical antenna design. You will own the theoretical and analytical core of our space-to-ground and inter-satellite links, ensuring robust data throughput, optimal modulation and demodulation performance, and maximum spectral efficiency in demanding orbital environments.

Working closely with our digital payload and embedded firmware teams, you will translate high-level mission requirements into advanced communication waveforms and error-control strategies. If you want to drive high-impact aerospace innovation and power the next generation of orbital missions, Azista Space is where your career takes flight.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Communication System Architecture:

Design and model end-to-end satellite communication link architectures, establishing optimal trade-offs between data rate, bandwidth, power, and error performance.
- Signal Processing & Waveform Optimization: Develop, analyze, and optimize digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms, advanced modulation schemes (e.g., QPSK, 8PSK, APSK, OFDM), and pulse-shaping techniques tailored for high-reliability space links.
- Coding & Error Control: Implement and evaluate forward error correction (FEC) schemes, channel coding standards (such as LDPC, Turbo codes, and Reed-Solomon), and precise synchronization algorithms.
- Theoretical Link Budget & Propagation Analysis: Conduct rigorous theoretical link budget calculations, accounting for atmospheric attenuation, Doppler shifts, orbital dynamics, phase noise, and non-linear distortion impacts on Bit Error Rate (BER) and Packet Error Rate (PER).
- Interference & Signal Integrity Analysis: Model and mitigate co-channel interference, inter-symbol interference (ISI), and transceiver noise trade-offs (Phase Noise, EVM, SNR) using simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or Keysight SystemVue.
- Cross-Functional System Integration: Bridge the gap between theoretical RF communication layers and digital/embedded baseband hardware by providing clear mathematical and algorithmic specifications to firmware and digital design teams.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

- Education: Bachelor’s,

Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Signal Processing, or Communication Systems.
- Experience: 2–5+ years of dedicated experience focusing on wireless communication systems, satellite communications, or digital signal processing design.
- Core Theoretical Expertise: Deep, foundational knowledge of Communication Principles, Information Theory, Random Processes, and Modulation/Demodulation theory.
- Signal Processing Mastery: Strong command over digital signal processing (DSP) fundamentals, filtering theory, spectral analysis, and channel equalization.
- Simulation & Modeling Proficiency: Hands-on experience with simulation environments such as MATLAB/Simulink, Python (NumPy/SciPy), or Keysight SystemVue for waveform generation and link performance modeling.
- Standards Familiarity (Nice-to-Have): Understanding of satellite communication standards (CCSDS, DVB-S2/S2X, 3GPP NTN) and regulatory frameworks.

WHY JOIN US?

- Pioneering Impact: Be part of a transformative force in the global aerospace sector, working at India’s premier private satellite manufacturing facility to democratize access to space.
- Cutting-Edge Technical Ownership: Own the theoretical and algorithmic foundations of advanced satellite payloads without getting bogged down in routine lab testing.
- Team-oriented Culture: Work alongside visionary leadership, aerospace pioneers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams dedicated to indigenous innovation and industrial scalability.
- Career Growth: Accelerate your professional trajectory in a fast-growing, vertically integrated environment that rewards technical rigor, creative problem-solving, and bold thinking.
