Role Description The Collections Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Firozabad, responsible for overseeing and optimizing collection activities for assigned portfolios. This role involves managing a team of collection executives, tracking daily collection performance, and implementing strategies to reduce delinquencies and improve recovery rates.

The Collections

Manager will monitor accounts, analyze collection data, coordinate with internal stakeholders such as credit and operations, and ensure adherence to regulatory and company policies. Daily tasks include setting targets, reviewing escalated cases, resolving customer issues professionally, and preparing reports for management on collection effectiveness and portfolio health.



The role also requires continuous process improvement and training of team members to maintain high standards of compliance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong collections and recovery management skills, including portfolio monitoring, delinquency control, and negotiation abilities.
- Candidates should possess skills in people management and leadership, such as team supervision, performance tracking, coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Candidates should possess analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency in data analysis, MIS reporting, and use of spreadsheets or collection management tools.
- Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including explicit verbal and written communication, customer handling capability, and relationship management.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field; prior experience in collections or consumer lending, preferably in an NBFC or banking environment; and familiarity with regulatory and compliance norms in the Indian financial sector.
- Ability to work on-site in Firozabad, meet deadlines under pressure, make sound decisions, and maintain ethical standards and customer-centric practices.
