Key Responsibilities & Requirements

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing

AWS Cloud environments.

- Analyze existing application infrastructure and recommend architecture improvements to enhance scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.

- Define, document, and implement cloud infrastructure standards, deployment strategies, and operational best practices.

- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as

Docker and

Kubernetes

.

- Hands-on experience with

Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)

and/or

Amazon ECS (Elastic Container Service)

.

- Expertise in

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

using

Terraform and/or

AWS CloudFormation

.

- Experience in designing, building, and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS.

- Robust understanding of core AWS services including:

- Compute (EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS)

- Storage (S3, EFS)

- Databases (RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora)

- Networking and Security Services

- Exposure to serverless architectures using

AWS Lambda

, AWS SAM, API Gateway, and event-driven solutions is highly preferred.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as

Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and operational tasks.

- Experience with





CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM, encryption, network security, compliance, and security best practices.

- Experience in cloud optimization, monitoring, logging, performance tuning, and cost management using AWS-native and third-party tools.

- Proven experience in planning and executing cloud migration projects

, including migration assessments, roadmap creation, effort estimation, and execution.

- Understanding of

AWS Landing Zone

, multi-account strategy, governance, and automated cloud environment provisioning.

- Experience implementing high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions on AWS.

- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- AWS Certifications such as

AWS Certified Solutions Architect

,

AWS DevOps Engineer

, or

AWS SysOps Administrator

.

- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as

CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack

, or Datadog.

- Exposure to FinOps practices and AWS cost optimization strategies.

- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
