Summary

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes strategizing and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that solutions are scalable and optimized for performance. The position requires coordinating with various stakeholders to align migration efforts with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration process.

The engineer plays a key role in enabling organizations to leverage both private and public cloud technologies to achieve innovative and efficient business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.




- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of cloud migration projects ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to streamline migration activities.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices related to cloud migration and infrastructure.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Architecture.
- Positive To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms and migration methodologies.
- Experience in designing scalable and high-performance database solutions in cloud environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize database performance during and after migration.
- Familiarity with data security and compliance considerations in cloud migrations.

Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Database Architecture.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
