Role Description The Clinical Prosthetist and Orthotist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The role involves assessing patients with limb loss or musculoskeletal conditions, performing detailed evaluations including gait analysis, and developing individualized treatment plans. The professional will design, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices for upper and lower extremities, ensuring comfort, safety, and functional outcomes.

Daily responsibilities include collaborating with physiotherapists and occupational therapists,



providing ongoing patient education, monitoring device performance, and documenting clinical findings and treatment progress. The role also includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current technologies and materials, contributing to continuous improvement in clinical practices and patient care.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated proficiency in Prosthetics and Orthotics, including assessment, design, fitting, and follow-up care.
- Strong skills in Gait Analysis and biomechanical evaluation to support treatment planning and device optimization.
- Experience in Patient Care, including communication, counseling, and long-term follow-up for individuals with limb loss or physical disabilities.
- Foundational knowledge of Medicine relevant to musculoskeletal conditions, neurology, and rehabilitation.
- Relevant academic qualification in Prosthetics and Orthotics or a closely related field; certification or licensure as required by local regulations.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team and contribute to evidence-based clinical practice.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and learn new prosthetic and orthotic technologies and techniques.
