Key Responsibilities &

- Duties

- Daily Practice &
- Technique:

Dedicate consistent hours to technical exercises—such as scale work, bow control, breath support, alankars, or riyaz—under the guidance of a senior artist or instructor.

- Theory &

- Repertoire Study:

Learn music theory, notation reading, ear training, rhythm (taal or meter), and historical/stylistic context of the repertoire.

- Rehearsal &

- Ensemble Participation:

Attend and assist in group rehearsals, chamber groups, or student orchestras, learning how to blend tone, follow a conductor or lead artist, and perform live.

- Performance &

- Evaluations:

Perform in studio classes, internal recitals, community outreach programs, or formal exams to build stage confidence.

- Instrument &

- Space Upkeep:

Maintain, clean, and tune instruments, and help set up performance or practice spaces.

- Assistance &

- Shadowing:

Support senior teachers or music directors during workshops, student tracking, or organizing sheet music/learning materials.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
