Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Claim Processing Specialist to handle end-to-end medical claims processing activities for US healthcare clients. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing claims, validating patient and insurance information, ensuring coding and billing accuracy, and submitting claims to insurance providers within the required timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Review medical claims for accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance information, provider details, and service information.
- Process professional and institutional claims based on client requirements.
- Identify and correct claim errors, missing information, and billing discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS code validation as per applicable billing guidelines.
- Submit electronic and paper claims to insurance companies.
- Monitor claim rejections and coordinate with relevant teams for corrections and resubmissions.
- Understand payer-specific billing requirements and claim submission guidelines.




- Maintain accurate claim processing records and daily productivity reports.
- Coordinate with coding, charge entry, AR, and other RCM teams to resolve claim-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable healthcare data confidentiality requirements.
- Achieve daily production, quality, and turnaround-time targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–4 years of experience in US Healthcare RCM.
- Hands-on experience in Medical Claims Processing.
- Knowledge of professional and institutional claims (CMS-1500 and UB-04).
- Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance.
- Experience with claim submission, rejection handling, and resubmission.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
