Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Civil BOQ and Estimation Specialist – Online Telugu Trainer. The specialist will conduct online training sessions in Telugu, teaching learners how to prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), perform cost estimations, and apply civil engineering standards in practical scenarios. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and updating course content, creating examples and exercises based on real civil engineering projects, and delivering interactive virtual classes.

The role also involves assessing learner performance, providing feedback, and supporting participants with doubts or clarifications through online communication channels.



The trainer is expected to maintain professional documentation of lessons, stay current with industry practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of the training program.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of civil engineering concepts, including BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation for construction projects.
- Experience using relevant civil engineering and estimation tools or software (e.g., Excel for costing, basic CAD or quantity estimation tools).
- Ability to design structured training modules, lesson plans, and practical exercises tailored to engineering graduates.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Telugu, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to learners online.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with a learner-focused, inclusive teaching style.
- Comfort with online teaching platforms, digital collaboration tools, and remote work environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience is an advantage.
- Robust organizational skills, reliability in managing part-time schedules, and commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory training practices.
