Network Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Network Security Operations Engineer with 13 years of experience in network operations, security operations, and infrastructure support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, F5 Load Balancers, firewall operations, and implementation and change management activities.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting network security infrastructure, managing technical incidents, implementing approved changes, and ensuring smooth network operations while adhering to ITIL processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Support day-to-day network security operations and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Work on Cisco networking technologies and assist with network implementation and configuration activities.
- Provide operational support for F5 Load Balancers, including:

- Virtual Servers

- Pools and Nodes

- Health Monitors

- SSL Profiles

- Traffic Management
- Perform firewall operations and support technologies such as Fortinet, Cisco, F5, Clavister, and NetGuard.
- Participate in network implementation, configuration, and change management activities.
- Support incident, problem, change, and service request management in accordance with ITIL processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents, including customer-impacting issues.
- Work with proxy technologies such as Symantec/Broadcom Proxy and Blue Coat.
- Support VMware Hypervisor environments and virtualised infrastructure hosting security appliances.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure timely incident resolution and successful change implementation.




- Maintain technical documentation and follow established operational procedures.

Required Experience and Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in Network Security Operations, Managed Security Services, Telecom Operations, Hosting Operations, or Enterprise Infrastructure Support.
- Hands-on operational experience with Cisco networking and F5 Load Balancers.
- Understanding of network security and firewall operations.
- Exposure to implementation and change management activities.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
