We’re hiring: Chief Engineer | Aprumo Drives | Pune

Aprumo Drives is building precision transmissions, frameless motors, servo electronics and integrated actuators. We’re looking for a hands-on Chief Engineer to lead product architecture, build our technical team and take products from requirements through prototypes, validation and industrialisation.

What you’ll own

- System requirements, product architecture and interfaces across mechanical, motor, electronics and controls domains.
- Technical authority for design reviews, design release, engineering changes and prototype acceptance.
- Engineering methods, configuration control and verification and validation strategy.
- Cross-functional decisions connecting performance, thermal behaviour, manufacturability, reliability and cost.
- Technical assessment and development of architects, engineering leads and specialist partners.

What we’re looking for

- 15+ years of progressively senior technical responsibility in precision electromechanical or motion-control products.
- Experience personally taking integrated hardware through architecture, detailed design, prototype testing, failure analysis, redesign and validation.
- Hands-on depth in at least two areas: precision transmissions,



electric motors and magnetics, servo drives and power electronics, or embedded motion control.
- Solid understanding of tolerance engineering, bearings, thermal management, sensing, manufacturing and supplier qualification.
- B.E./B.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline; M.E./M.Tech or equivalent advanced engineering experience preferred.

Relevant backgrounds include robotics actuators, industrial servo systems, precision motion, aerospace electromechanical actuation and high-performance automotive/EV electromechanical products.

This role calls for someone who can explain the engineering decisions they made, what failed during development and how test evidence shaped the final design.
