Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chef role based at Café

- Hideout in Patna. The Chef will be responsible for preparing and presenting menu items across multiple cuisines, ensuring consistency in taste, portioning, and quality. Daily tasks include planning and organizing kitchen operations, monitoring food inventory, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards in compliance with café policies. The role involves collaborating with the kitchen and service teams, adapting recipes to guest preferences,



and helping to develop new dishes that align with Café
- Hideout’s brand and vibe. The Chef is expected to support peak service hours, uphold a clean and efficient workspace, and contribute to a positive, guest-focused experience.

Qualifications

- Strong culinary skills with experience in multi-cuisine cooking (e.g., Chinese, Continental, Mexican, Barbeque, Indian).
- Proficiency in food preparation, plating, and presentation, with attention to detail and consistency.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory management, menu execution, and workflow organization.
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, and ability to enforce them in a busy kitchen.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time well, and stay calm during peak hours.
- Prior experience as a Chef or Cook in a café, restaurant, or hotel; formal culinary training or certification is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and commitment to in office presence in Patna.8
