ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a recently qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Internal Audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher to gain hands-on experience in auditing large corporate firms under the guidance of experienced audit professionals. The candidate will be involved in end-to-end audit processes, monthly reporting, and investment portfolio verification, while developing leadership skills for future growth within the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Audit Support

- Assist in planning and executing internal audit assignments for large corporate clients.
- Participate in reviewing internal controls, financial processes, and business operations.
- Document audit findings, prepare working papers, and maintain audit trails accurately.
- Support senior auditors in risk assessment and control gap identification.

Monthly Reporting

- Assist in compiling and preparing monthly audit reports for review by senior management.
- Maintain accurate records, trackers, and MIS dashboards for ongoing audit engagements.
- Ensure timely submission of all assigned reports with complete and exact data.





Investment Portfolio Verification

- Support verification and reconciliation of the organisation's investment portfolio records.
- Assist in reviewing investment documentation for completeness and regulatory compliance.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies to the supervising CA for resolution.

Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure audit work adheres to applicable ICAI standards, accounting principles, and internal policies.
- Maintain organised and accurate documentation for all assigned audit tasks.
- Coordinate with finance teams to gather required data and clarifications.

Learning & Development

- Work closely with senior team members to understand audit methodologies and best practices.
- Develop an understanding of large firm audit environments and complex financial structures.
- Demonstrate initiative, willingness to learn, and a growth mindset in all assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI — mandatory.
- Freshers who have recently cleared their CA Final exams are eligible to apply.
- Completion of articleship with exposure to internal or statutory audit preferred.




- Basic understanding of accounting standards (Ind AS), tax laws, and audit procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, or any ERP system is an added advantage.

Karjat, Maharashtra The role may require periodic travel to Karjat for field audits and on-site assignments. Candidates comfortable with occasional travel are preferred.
