Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CFD Engineer with hands-on expertise in ANSYS Fluent and STAR-CCM+ to perform Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations, analyse fluid flow behaviour, and support engineering design and product development activities.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, turbulence modelling, meshing, and simulation techniques.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform CFD simulations using ANSYS Fluent and STAR-CCM+.
- Develop and prepare computational models for fluid flow and thermal analysis.
- Perform geometry cleanup, surface preparation and mesh generation.
- Conduct pre-processing, solver setup and post-processing activities.
- Analyse fluid flow, pressure distribution, velocity, temperature and heat transfer.
- Work on turbulence modelling and different boundary conditions.
- Perform steady-state and transient CFD simulations.
- Validate simulation results against experimental data or engineering requirements.
- Prepare technical reports and present simulation findings.
- Collaborate with design, product development and engineering teams.
- Identify design improvements based on CFD simulation results.

Required Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with ANSYS Fluent.
- Practical experience with STAR-CCM+.
- Strong understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
- Knowledge of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
- Experience in meshing and mesh independence studies.




- Understanding of turbulence models such as k-epsilon and k-omega SST.
- Knowledge of boundary conditions and solver settings.
- Experience in post-processing and result interpretation.
- Knowledge of heat transfer and thermal analysis.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with ANSYS SpaceClaim or DesignModeler.
- Knowledge of ICEM CFD, ANSA or HyperMesh.
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, HVAC, energy or industrial applications.
- Knowledge of Python or MATLAB for engineering automation.
- Understanding of experimental validation and engineering standards.

Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.

Experience
- 2–8 years of relevant CFD simulation experience.
- Candidates with strong practical experience in ANSYS Fluent and STAR-CCM+ will be preferred.

Candidate Profile
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to independently execute CFD simulation projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.
