Role Description The Cashier at IvyLabs will handle day-to-day point-of-sale operations, including processing customer transactions accurately, managing cash, digital payments, and receipts, and maintaining proper records. The role involves assisting customers with billing questions, providing clear information on pricing and services, and ensuring a courteous, professional customer experience. The Cashier will reconcile cash drawers, support basic inventory tracking related to sales, and coordinate with team members on any billing or payment discrepancies.

This is a full-time,



on-site role based in Guwahati, requiring consistent presence during business hours and close collaboration with the local team.

Qualifications

- Ability to accurately handle cash, digital payments, and basic accounting entries, with robust attention to numerical detail.
- Clear and professional communication skills, including the ability to explain bills, offers, and policies to customers.
- Strong customer service orientation, with a polite, patient, and solution-focused approach to resolving customer queries.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems or billing software; willingness to learn new tools and processes.
- Organizational skills to maintain transaction records, support reconciliation, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Reliability in attending on-site shifts in Guwahati, with the ability to work in a team and follow company policies.
- Prior experience in a cashier, front desk, or retail/billing role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent; further training in commerce or accounting is a plus.
