About the Role

SLCM is looking for a senior business leader to head our Storage Business across India. This is a P&L; leadership role with end-to-end ownership of strategy, growth and operations across two verticals, Professional Warehousing (PWH) and Warehouse Management (WMS). You will work closely with the Director & CBO to shape the next phase of SLCM’s growth and lead a Pan India team.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Strategy & Growth: Define and execute the business strategy for the storage vertical. Drive expansion, market penetration, customer acquisition, revenue growth and new business opportunities.
- P&L; Ownership & Financial Management: Take full ownership of budgets, revenue, EBITDA, profitability, working capital and key business KPIs, with a focus on financial discipline and sustainable value creation.
- Business & Operational Excellence: Lead end-to-end business and warehouse operations across locations, ensuring productivity, service delivery, process efficiency and cost optimisation.
- Strategic Client & Relationship Management: Build and strengthen senior-level relationships with corporate clients, retail customers, banks,



financial institutions and strategic business partners.
- Market Intelligence & Commercial Acumen: Bring a strong understanding of commodity markets, storage pricing, market dynamics and competition, and identify emerging business opportunities.
- Risk Management & Governance: Ensure effective risk management, statutory and regulatory compliance, warehouse governance, audit readiness and robust receivables management.
- Leadership & Organisation Development: Lead a Pan India workforce, develop the next line of leadership, build succession depth and create a high-performance, accountable organisation.

Who You Are

- A seasoned business leader with 15-20 years of experience, with extensive exposure to warehousing or agri-commodity businesses
- Proven P&L; ownership at a regional or national level, with a track record of delivering profitable, sustainable growth
- Experience leading large, multi-location teams and managing senior stakeholders
- Solid commercial understanding of commodity markets and the storage business
- Established relationships, or the ability to build them quickly, with corporate clients, banks and financial institutions
- Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable with the numbers and with operations on the ground
