Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Techno-Functional ERP Analyst with strong expertise in PeopleSoft Financials, General Ledger (GL), SQL and ERP data analysis.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Finance implementation, production support, extract analysis and ERP transformation initiatives. This role requires a combination of functional finance knowledge and technical expertise, particularly in analysing PeopleSoft data structures, queries and application components.

The candidate will contribute to Finance ERP transformation initiatives, with a core focus on PeopleSoft-to-Workday Finance transformation, ensuring accurate financial data extraction, validation, mapping and integration.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business and technical requirements related to PeopleSoft Finance and General Ledger.
- Perform detailed analysis of PeopleSoft data extracts, financial transactions and underlying data structures.
- Write, review and execute complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, reconciliation and analysis.
- Analyse PeopleSoft technical components, including SQR programs, Application Engine and PeopleSoft Queries.
- Support General Ledger and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including journal entries, chart of accounts, ledger structures and financial reporting.
- Understand PeopleSoft Finance architecture, integrations, interfaces and data flows.
- Work on ERP data migration, transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Support financial data mapping, source-to-target analysis, data reconciliation and validation.




- Collaborate with Finance, ERP, Technical and Integration teams to resolve data and functional issues.
- Work closely with stakeholders to document business requirements, functional specifications and technical analysis.
- Contribute to EPM-related integrations and financial planning/reporting processes.
- Support Workday Finance integration and transformation activities, where applicable.
- Participate in testing, defect analysis, UAT and production support activities.

Mandatory Skills

1. B.E./B.Tech in Engineering (Mandatory).
2. 8–15 years of relevant professional experience.
3. Strong hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Finance / Financials.
4. Strong General Ledger (GL) and Record-to-Report (R2R) knowledge.
5. Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, data extraction and validation.
6. Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft extract analysis.
7. Understanding of PeopleSoft data structures, tables and technical components.
