Role Description The Business Analyst role at IAFS is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division.

The Business

Analyst will analyze business processes, gather and document requirements, and support the design of solutions for fire protection, life safety, and building automation projects. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with operations, engineering, and sales teams to understand client needs, mapping current workflows, identifying gaps, and proposing process improvements. The role involves preparing functional specifications, reports, and dashboards,



as well as supporting project planning, cost estimations, and performance tracking.

The Business

Analyst will also participate in stakeholder meetings, assist in developing standard operating procedures, and help ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Business Analysis capabilities and 3+ years of experience to interpret data, assess processes, and define solution options.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and clearly document Business Requirements.
- Candidates should possess Business Process understanding to model workflows, identify inefficiencies, and support process optimization.
- Candidates should possess the ability to elicit, document, and manage Business Requirements and translate them into actionable specifications.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field are preferred.
- Experience in construction, industrial contracting, fire safety, or building automation domains is an advantage.
- Proficiency with productivity and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, reporting tools, basic documentation software) is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in in office project environments are required.
