Role Description The Building Materials Salesperson is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for selling building materials such as paint and related products to retail customers, contractors, and business clients. Day-to-day tasks include greeting and advising customers, explaining product features and usage, preparing quotations, processing orders, and coordinating deliveries.

The salesperson will handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, follow up on leads,



and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business. The role also involves maintaining product displays, monitoring stock levels, working with the store and logistics teams, and achieving individual and team sales targets.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication abilities.
- Sales-focused capabilities, including Sales experience and comfort with meeting targets.
- Professional Phone Etiquette for handling inquiries and follow-ups.
- Basic product knowledge in building materials, especially Paint and related items.
- Prior experience in retail, construction materials, or hardware store sales preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, including weekends or extended hours when required.
- Proficiency in local languages and English to engage a wide range of customers.
- Minimum high school diploma; additional training in sales or retail operations is an advantage.
