About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Billing & Payroll Operations Specialist to manage end-to-end billing, timesheet processing, payroll coordination, and accounts receivable operations for a growing healthcare/nursing staffing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and verify weekly timesheets for nurses, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Handle client billing, invoice preparation, and submission.
- Coordinate payroll processing based on approved timesheets and pay rates.
- Track client payments, outstanding invoices, and accounts receivable.
- Resolve billing discrepancies, payroll queries, and payment-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of client contracts, billing rates, pay rates, and employee assignments.
- Prepare weekly billing, payroll, and receivables reports.
- Monitor overtime, holiday pay, shift differentials, and gross margins.

Required Skills:

- 2–5 years of experience in Billing, Payroll, Accounting Operations, or Staffing Agency Operations.




- Healthcare/Nursing Staffing or Temporary Staffing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of timesheet management, invoicing, payroll, and accounts receivable.
- Excellent MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, formulas, reconciliation).
- Experience with QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex, or similar payroll/accounting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Good to Have:

- Bullhorn / Aviont or other staffing platforms.
- Healthcare facility billing and VMS portal experience.
- Knowledge of bill rates, pay rates, overtime calculations, and gross margins.
