Role - Azure Architect

Location - Pune

Work Type - Hybrid The ideal candidate should be a technically strong hybrid cloud architect who can work across Azure-native infrastructure, Azure VMware Solution, and traditional on-premises data centers without depending entirely on separate teams for routine troubleshooting and technical coordination.

The candidate must combine architecture and design capabilities with practical production support experience, understand end-to-end infrastructure dependencies, take ownership of technical issues, and support the project from transition and stabilization through steady-state managed service delivery.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- 10+ years of overall IT infrastructure experience, with substantial experience in enterprise infrastructure and virtualization.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure, cloud architecture, or hybrid cloud operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud architecture.
- Practical experience with Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and VMware vSphere technologies.
- Good knowledge of on-premises infrastructure, data center operations, and VMware environments.
- Robust understanding of hybrid networking, ExpressRoute, VPN, BGP, DNS, routing, and firewalls.
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, identity integration, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor,



Log Analytics, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and infrastructure security.
- Experience in infrastructure migration, cloud transition, stabilization, and production operations.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, capacity management, and performance optimization skills.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, scripting, automation, and configuration management.
- Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and service management processes.
- Experience supporting enterprise production environments with defined SLAs and operational governance.

Key Deliverables

- Azure, AVS, and on-premises current-state assessment and architecture documentation.
- Hybrid cloud HLD/LLD, network topology, and infrastructure dependency mapping.
- Transition and takeover plan, knowledge-transfer records, and operational readiness checklist.
- Infrastructure migration strategy, execution plan, validation criteria, and rollback procedures.
- Stabilization plan and evidence of readiness for SLA commencement.
- Monitoring, alerting, capacity, security, and backup configuration baselines.
- Incident RCA reports, problem management actions, and continuous improvement plans.
- Azure and AVS capacity and cost optimization recommendations.
- Updated operational runbooks, SOPs, configuration records, and escalation procedures.
