ActivizIT is expanding its cloud engineering team!

We are looking for a Mid-Level AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and delivery of enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure, security, and transformation projects across the region.

The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in designing and implementing AWS Landing Zones, with particular emphasis on AWS Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA), AWS Control Tower, Cloud security controls, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, deploy, and implement enterprise-scale AWS Landing Zones using AWS Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA) and AWS Control Tower
- Implement AWS cloud environments based on architecture designs and governance standards provided by the Cloud Architecture team
- Configure and manage AWS Organizations, Organizational Units (OUs), Service Control Policies (SCPs), and account governance frameworks
- Deploy and maintain AWS networking, identity and access management (IAM), logging, monitoring, and security services
- Implement security guardrails, compliance controls, and cloud governance policies across multi-account AWS environments
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and other automation tools
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and deployment issues
- Work closely with cloud architects, project managers, and customers to successfully deliver Landing Zone deployment initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience





- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and architecture.
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience designing, building, and implementing AWS Landing Zones.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA) and/or AWS Control Tower.
- Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure services, networking, security, IAM, governance, and cloud architecture best practices.
- Practical experience implementing AWS security controls and cloud security best practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

- Hands-on experience with AWS Native Security Services.
- Hands-on experience with cloud migrations and hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- AWS certifications in Solutions Architecture, Security, or related disciplines.
- Experience with AWS Organizations, multi-account architectures, and Service Control Policies (SCPs).
- Experience with cloud migrations and hybrid cloud environments.
