About the role

ABC Legal is building its team for retainer work for a corporate client. We need a lawyer who can dig in, work hard, and support the partner on commercial drafting, advisory and day-to-day counsel for a demanding live retainer.

This is not a dramatic career-jump advert. It is for someone with zeal, determination and a practical mindset.

What you will do

- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and related documents
- Research and note regulatory and compliance points clearly for the partner
- Work with the client’s teams in plain language
- Keep files,



versions and status notes in order
- Own workstreams and turn work around to commercial timelines

Who should apply

- LL.B. from a recognised Indian university; enrolled with a State Bar Council
- Comfortable drafting in English and working to deadlines
- Zeal, determination and a practical mindset — we care about how you work, not only where you trained
- Discretion with confidential and commercially sensitive material
- Relevant prior experience that you can discuss at interview is welcome; it is not a hard filter
