Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to support the Sales Manager in leading, coaching, and managing a team of sales executives. The role will be responsible for achieving sales targets, monitoring team performance, implementing sales strategies, improving conversion rates, and ensuring a high level of customer engagement.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, along with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and supporting team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Sales Manager in leading, motivating, and managing a team of Sales Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.

Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals and monitor progress against targets.

Track team performance through sales reports, KPIs, and CRM systems.

Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and one-on-one coaching sessions.

Train and mentor team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, customer handling, and objection management.

Monitor the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up with leads and prospects.

Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and overall sales performance.

Assist team members in handling complex customer queries, negotiations, and closing deals.

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and business objectives in coordination with the Sales Manager.

Coordinate with Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, and other departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.





Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular performance reports for management.

Identify underperformance and implement appropriate coaching and improvement plans.

Support the Sales Manager in planning sales activities, allocating targets, and tracking team productivity.

Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and quality standards.

Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.

4–5 years of experience in sales.

Prior experience managing or supervising a sales team is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent leadership and team-management abilities.

Robust negotiation and objection-handling skills.

Target-oriented and results-driven approach.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in CRM software, MS Excel/Google Sheets, and sales reporting tools.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Compensation

Salary : [₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month] Incentives/Performance Bonus
