The School of Liberal Arts & Sciences at RV University invites applications for the role of Assistant Professor in Forensic Psychology

Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Forensic Psychology and related subjects

Develop and update course syllabi, curricula and teaching materials, ensuring alignment with the departmental and institutional standards and objectives.

Assess and evaluate student learning outcomes, providing feedback and guidance to improve academic performance and foster intellectual growth.

Supervise, mentor and advise students on their research projects, dissertations and internships

Participate in academic conferences, workshops and seminars, presenting research papers and exchanging ideas with other experts in the field.





Collaborate with other faculty members, researchers and external partners on interdisciplinary and cross-institutional projects and initiatives.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Dean

Essential Qualifications

- Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology / Psychology / Criminology from a recognized university. Candidates currently pursing Ph.D . in the relevant subject can also apply
- Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology
- NET/SET in the relevant subject mandatory for Non-PhD candidates
- Research publications in reputed journals (Scopus / Web of Science / UGC-CARE preferred)
