Role Description The Assistant Manager role is a full-time position based in Thane, structured as a hybrid role with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating sourcing and procurement activities, managing vendor relationships, tracking orders and deliveries, and ensuring adherence to company policies and timelines.

The role involves preparing and reviewing reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting data analysis to improve sourcing efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Manager will collaborate with internal teams, participate in meetings, help resolve operational issues, and contribute to process improvement initiatives and compliance with organizational standards.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and basic data interpretation skills for sourcing and operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), documentation, and general computer literacy.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain coordination is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, engineering, or a related field is desirable.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of basic commercial terms and vendor management practices will be an advantage.
