Key Responsibilities /

- Financial Planning, Budgeting &
- Forecasting

- Support preparation of Annual Operating Plan (AOP), budgets, forecasts, and long-term business plans.
- Coordinate with business and functional teams for revenue, cost, manpower, capex, and cash flow planning.
- Perform budget versus actual analysis and provide variance explanations and actionable insights.
- Support scenario analysis, financial modelling, and business planning exercises for management decision-making.

- MIS Reporting &
- Business Performance Analysis

- Prepare monthly MIS, management reports, business dashboards, and performance scorecards.
- Analyze trends in revenue, profitability, operating expenses, working capital, and key operational metrics.
- Provide insights on business performance, risks, opportunities, and improvement actions.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting for management reviews and corporate requirements.

- Financial Controllership, Accounting &
- Compliance

- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, including review of provisions, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate finance operations including accounting, vendor payments, payroll accounting, and maintenance of financial records.
- Ensure timely processing and review of sales, purchase, and expense transactions.
- Support statutory compliance activities including GST, TDS, audits, and regulatory reporting in coordination with consultants and auditors.
- Assist in strengthening internal controls, governance processes, and financial discipline across the business.

- Business Finance, Bid Costing &
- Commercial Support

- Support preparation and review of costing models, bid evaluations, pricing analysis, and financial assessments for tenders and new business opportunities.
- Validate costing assumptions, overhead allocations, margins, and profitability of HAL tenders and commercial proposals.
- Work closely with Business Development, Engineering, Operations, and SCM teams to provide financial inputs for proposals.
- Assist in evaluating commercial viability,



profitability, and risk associated with new projects and business opportunities.
- Monitor project performance against approved business cases and highlight key deviations.

- Cost Control &
- Working Capital Management

- Monitor costs against approved budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Track working capital parameters including inventory, receivables, advances, and payables.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving cash flow, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze cost drivers and support management in achieving productivity and margin improvement targets.

- Business Case Evaluation &
- Stakeholder Management

- Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities, investments, strategic projects, and capex proposals.
- Support preparation of business cases, profitability assessments, and management presentations.
- Assist in evaluating risks, returns, and financial impact of key business decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support business objectives and governance requirements.

Technical Skills

- Strong working knowledge of SAP (FI/CO modules preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling, Pivot Tables, dashboards, and data analysis.
- Robust PowerPoint and business presentation skills.
- Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, financial analysis, and controllership.
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles, manufacturing finance, and profitability analysis.
- Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of IND AS and statutory compliance requirements.
