Amplitude Reporting Migration Specialist - Mumbai/Pune/Bangalore/Gurgaon

Migrate Adobe Analytics reporting to Amplitude: inventory the estate and run the market consultation that feeds retain/retire decisions, rebuild approved reports as Amplitude charts, dashboards, segments and metrics, and reconcile numbers to Adobe. The client owns the retain/retire decisions.

Experience: 4-7 years in digital analytics, with a completed Adobe-to-Amplitude (or Adobe to GA4/Mixpanel) migration preferred.

Must-have

- Adobe Analytics:
- Analysis Workspace: freeform tables, panels, projects, shared and scheduled reports
- Segments (visit, visitor, hit containers, sequential) and calculated metrics (nested, derived fields, attribution models)
- Variables and processing: eVars, props, events, classifications, processing rules, virtual report suites
- Reporting/Workspace APIs or Report Builder for bulk extraction of projects, segments and metrics
- Amplitude :
- Charts: event segmentation, funnels, retention, journeys, user composition
- Dashboards, notebooks, cohorts, custom events, derived and user properties, formulas
- Governance: taxonomy, naming conventions, permissions, certified dashboards
- Migration and mapping:
- Mapping Adobe eVars,



props and events to an Amplitude event and property model
- Re-creating Adobe calculated metrics and segments as Amplitude formulas and cohorts, and documenting where they cannot be matched
- Wave planning, tracking and sign-off for migrated assets
- Inventory and rationalisation:
- Python or SQL to analyse usage, owners, duplicates and last-viewed dates across very large report estates
- Classifying assets (retain, standardise, consolidate, retire) for the client to decide; the specialist prepares evidence, not the decision
- Reconciliation:
- Comparing Adobe and Amplitude numbers by report, market and period
- Explaining variance from differing definitions (visits vs. sessions, unique visitors vs. users, attribution, bot filtering, time zones)
- Producing a parity sign-off pack that business users can accept
- Stakeholder delivery:
- Running market consultations and collecting required-report lists across regions
- Training analysts and writing migration guides
- Transparent written English for status reporting and documentation

Nice-to-have: retail or e-commerce, very large report estates (tens of thousands of assets), Power BI, Databricks or Snowflake, Amplitude certification.
