Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager Production to manage and oversee Assembly and Machine Shop operations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, production planning capabilities, and experience in handling shopfloor manpower to achieve production targets while maintaining quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day production activities across Assembly and Machine Shop operations.
- Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Ensure achievement of production targets, productivity, and delivery schedules.
- Handle CNC, VMC, and conventional machining operations.
- Manage mechanical assembly processes, line balancing, and workflow.
- Monitor machine utilization, cycle time, downtime, rejection, and rework.




- Manage shopfloor manpower, supervisors, team leaders, and operators.
- Coordinate with Quality, PPC, Stores, Maintenance, and other departments.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality procedures, and production SOPs.
- Prepare daily production reports, MIS, and performance reports.

Required Skills & Experience

- 710 years of experience in production within a manufacturing/engineering industry.
- Strong hands-on experience in both Assembly and Machine Shop operations.
- Valuable knowledge of CNC, VMC, machining processes, and mechanical assembly.
- Experience in production planning, manpower management, and shopfloor operations.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and productivity improvement.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Preferred Industry Automotive, Auto Components, Engineering, Precision Manufacturing, or Industrial Equipment Manufacturing.
