Company Description Samveksha Private Limited is an aerospace startup focused on developing, manufacturing, and qualifying unmanned aircraft systems for defense, aerospace, and ISR applications. The company executes core engineering in-house, spanning aerodynamics, structural design, propulsion, power systems, avionics, flight controls, and flight software. This end-to-end capability allows Samveksha to design integrated and robust systems tailored to demanding mission requirements.

Role Description The Aerostructures Engineer will work on the design, analysis, and development of structural components and assemblies for unmanned aircraft systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing structural concepts, performing detailed stress and fatigue analyses, preparing engineering drawings and documentation, and supporting material selection and manufacturing processes. The role involves close collaboration with aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, and flight controls teams to ensure structural integrity, performance, and reliability.

The engineer will also participate in testing, validation, and qualification activities,



as well as design improvements based on test data and field feedback. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in aerostructures, including structural design, stress analysis, and familiarity with aerospace materials and manufacturing methods.
- Proficiency with CAD and CAE tools (e.g., 3D modeling software and FEA packages) for designing and analyzing aircraft structures.
- Knowledge of aerospace engineering domains such as aerodynamics, propulsion integration, and flight loads, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
- Experience or coursework related to unmanned aircraft systems, defense or aerospace projects, and structural testing or qualification is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to interpret engineering standards and requirements, prepare technical reports, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment and in on-site engineering teams.
