About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Admission Counsellor with 6 months to 1 year of experience in online higher education. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, understanding their educational and career goals, and guiding them towards suitable online degree programmes offered by recognised universities.

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with prospective students through inbound and outbound calls, leads and other communication channels.
- Counsel students regarding online degree programmes such as MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, BA, MA and other postgraduate courses.
- Explain programme details, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, fee structures and university credentials.
- Understand students' career aspirations and recommend suitable higher education programmes.
- Follow up with interested candidates and convert leads into successful admissions.
- Assist students throughout the application, documentation and enrolment process.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and update lead information in the CRM.
- Achieve assigned monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Ensure a positive student experience through timely and accurate communication.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline. Postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in admission counselling, education counselling or EdTech sales.
- Prior experience in selling online degree programmes such as MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA or other UG/PG courses will be preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing, negotiation and lead-conversion abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, CRM tools and Google Workspace.
- Target-oriented, self-motivated and comfortable working in a sales-driven setting.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with experience in online higher education companies such as upGrad, Great Learning, Hike Education, College Vidya, Simplilearn or similar organisations will be preferred.
- Should have a basic understanding of online and distance education programmes.
- Should be comfortable handling students and working professionals.
- Should have a proactive approach towards lead follow-ups and admissions conversion.
