Role Description The Accounts Payable Intern role is a full-time on-site position based in Navi Mumbai. The intern will support the accounts payable function by processing supplier invoices, verifying supporting documents, and preparing basic journal entries. Daily tasks include tracking and reconciling expense reports, assisting with payment runs, and ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions in the accounting system.

The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and supporting month-end closing activities under the guidance of senior finance staff. This internship offers hands-on experience in core finance and accounting processes within a professional outsourcing environment.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting principles, preferably through ongoing or completed coursework.




- Ability to manage Expense Reports and support Accounts Payable processes with attention to detail.
- Capability to prepare and understand basic Journal Entries (Accounting) for recording transactions.
- Analytical skills to review financial data, identify variances, and support reconciliation activities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative working style.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and willingness to learn in a rapid-paced environment.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
