ABOUT US E & S Food Technologies supplies and installs food processing machinery for customers across India, working with manufacturers in Italy and across Europe. We build complete pasta production plants on a turnkey basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring an Accounts Executive to handle our day-to-day accounts work — bookkeeping, invoicing, vendor payments, payroll processing and statutory filing support — reporting into the Director for approvals and working alongside our outside consultant on compliance. You'll be our first full-time accounts hire, helping set up the monthly rhythm from the ground up, including Provident Fund registration.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Bookkeeping and the monthly close, including GST reconciliation
- Raise and follow up on customer invoices for ongoing projects and orders
- Book and process vendor invoices, matched against purchase orders and goods received, and prepare payment runs
- Reconcile purchase orders against customer and vendor invoices, including advance-payment balances
- Manage attendance and leave in PagarBook and run monthly payroll — payslips, bank file,
employee expense reimbursements
- Handle statutory filings (PF, GST, TDS) together with our outside consultant
- Provide a short monthly report on cash, receivables and payables
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Several years' experience in accounts/finance at a small-to-mid manufacturing or project-based business
- Comfortable handling the day-to-day accounts work independently, without a finance team around you
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS and PF compliance, and payroll processing
- Tally or an equivalent accounting system
- Real experience reconciling vendor and customer accounts — not just data entry into a system someone else built
DETAILS Monday to Saturday (1st and 3rd Saturdays off), 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, based at our Thane office (Manpada). Reports to the Director.
