About the role

We are a growing refurbished-electronics business dealing in used and refurbished laptops, PC components and bulk IT hardware. We need a reliable accountant to keep our books accurate and our GST and compliance work on time.

Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally Prime: sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal and contra entries
- Prepare GST invoices and e-way bills, and handle the purchase and sales records for margin-scheme and regular items
- File GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile with GSTR-2B
- Handle TDS calculation, deposit and return filing
- Track stock in Tally and reconcile it with physical stock
- Manage debtors and creditors: follow up on payments, send statements and reconcile party ledgers
- Do bank reconciliation and keep cash and petty cash records
- Prepare monthly reports (P&L;, balance sheet, outstanding list) for the owner
- Coordinate with our CA for audit, ITR and year-end work

Requirements
- B.Com or higher (M.Com / CA Inter a plus)




- Working experience as an accountant, preferably in a trading or electronics business (the number of years can be flexible for a capable candidate)
- Solid hands-on knowledge of Tally Prime
- Good understanding of GST, TDS and basic compliance
- Good command of MS Excel
- Accuracy, honesty and good attention to detail
- Able to meet deadlines and handle confidential financial information

Good to have
- Experience with inventory-heavy or second-hand goods accounting
- Experience with e-invoicing and online GST portal work
- Basic English and Hindi communication for dealing with parties and the CA
