Position: Accountant

Organization: Prahar Academy

Location: Imampur, Pandharipul, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra

Experience Required: 4 to 6 Years

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting and financial transactions of the academy.
- Manage student fee collection, fee records and payment follow-ups.
- Maintain Cash Book, Bank Book, General Ledger and Journal Entries.
- Handle bank transactions and prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Maintain records of income, expenses, receipts and payments.
- Manage staff salaries, vendor payments and other financial transactions.
- Maintain accounting records using Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Handle GST, TDS and other applicable tax-related compliances.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain bills, vouchers, invoices and other financial documents.
- Monitor outstanding student fees and prepare fee collection reports.
- Ensure accuracy, transparency and confidentiality in all financial records.

Required Skills & Competencies




- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Management.
- Hands-on experience in Tally Prime.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
- Experience in fee management and cash handling.
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day accounting operations.
- Good communication, organizational and analytical skills.
- Honesty, discipline and attention to detail.

Eligibility Criteria
- 3 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience.
- B.Com / M.Com qualification preferred.
- Experience in an educational institute, coaching academy or training institute will be an added advantage.
- Practical knowledge of Tally Prime and Excel is mandatory.

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience and skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
