ABOUT THE ROLE
Godavari is looking for an experienced Accountant with a robust background in restaurant, hotel or hospitality accounting to manage financial operations, accounting processes and statutory compliance across our business verticals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle daily sales accounting and reconcile cash, card, UPI and POS transactions.
- Manage purchase entries, vendor payments, invoices and petty cash.
- Reconcile food delivery aggregator settlements.
- Monitor inventory, stock movements, food costing and wastage.
- Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare monthly MIS, P&L; statements and financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliation,
ledger scrutiny and month-end closing.
- Coordinate with external auditors and Chartered Accountants.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 3–5 years of experience in restaurant, hotel, QSR or catering accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and hospitality accounting.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and POS software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Understanding of inventory management and food costing.
PREFERRED CANDIDATES
Candidates with practical experience in restaurant and hospitality financial operations will be preferred.
