Job Overview

We are looking for a responsible and student-friendly Academic Mentor to guide and monitor students staying in the hostel at our Kacheripadi Centre. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a proper study setting, monitoring students' academic activities, and supporting their overall development. The role also involves coordinating with parents, teachers, the Centre Head, and hostel staff.

Key Responsibilities

Study Monitoring: Supervise daily evening study sessions and ensure students follow their study schedules and maintain discipline.

Student Monitoring: Regularly monitor student attendance, study hours, academic progress, and daily activities.

Academic Coordination: Distribute study materials, coordinate practice tests, and arrange doubt-clearing sessions with faculty members.

Parent Communication:



Provide regular updates to parents regarding students' academic performance, attendance, discipline, and well-being.

Record Maintenance: Maintain student records, attendance registers, and daily activity reports.

Student Support: Guide students in managing academic stress, adapting to hostel life, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Team Coordination: Coordinate with the Centre Head and Hostel Warden to ensure the smooth functioning of hostel academic activities.

Requirements

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Experience: 0–2 years. Freshers are also welcome to apply.

Ability to manage students and maintain discipline.

Good interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.

Patience and a genuine interest in working with students.
