Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Tool Design Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience in designing and developing manufacturing tools jigs fixtures molds and tooling solutions
The ideal candidate should possess strong CAD design skills and a good understanding of manufacturing processes tooling design standards and engineering drawings
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop tooling solutions jigs fixtures gauges molds and dies based on engineering requirements
Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software
Collaborate with production quality and manufacturing teams to optimize tool performance
Review product designs to ensure manufacturability and tooling feasibility
Perform design modifications and engineering change implementations
Support tool trials testing validation and troubleshooting activities
Generate BOMs Bill of Materials and maintain design documentation
Ensure compliance with engineering standards safety guidelines and customer specifications
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for tool manufacturing and development activities
Technical Requirements:
Proficiency in CATIA Creo NX SolidWorks or AutoCAD
Robust understanding of Tool Design GD T Tolerance Stack up and Engineering Drawings
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Machining Casting Injection Molding Sheet Metal and Assembly
Familiarity with tooling materials and manufacturing methods
Basic understanding of DFMEA Design Validation and Quality Processes
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
