Software Engineer II PHP Location: Remote (3PM-12 AM US shift)

We are seeking a Software Engineer with a strong track record of solving complex technical problems and delivering high-quality software in large, evolving systems. This role focuses on deep technical execution and ownership, with responsibility for designing, building, and improving critical components and services. Design and develop high-quality PHP applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Unit Testing: Design and implement comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Create and maintain explicit documentation for systems, features, and implementation details.
5+ years of professional experience in PHP development





- Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with modern PHP frameworks (preferably Laravel)
- Strong experience building and maintaining web applications and APIs
- Experience working with and improving legacy systems
- Strong understanding of unit testing principles and implementation
- Solid grasp of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue preferred)

Experience working in healthcare, SaaS, or regulated environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
