Job Title: JAVA & ApacheCamel Senior Developer

We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprisegrade integration solutions using Apache Camel and Spring Boot . The role sits at the center of our middleware landscape, connecting core banking, payments, and digital channels while ensuring highavailability, scalability, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Implementation – Build, test, and deploy Camel routes (DSL, Java, XML) and SpringBoot services, leveraging Spring Cloud (Config, Kubernetes operators) where needed.

Message Mediation – Implement routing, transformation, enrichment, validation, and errorhandling (DLQs, retries, compensating transactions) across protocols (REST, SOAP, JMS, Kafka, AMQP, SFTP, DB).

Performance & Reliability – Optimize route performance, implement circuitbreaker, throttling, and backpressure; Security & Governance – Apply security best practices (TLS, OAuth2/JWT, Spring Security, secret management), enforce datamasking, and support audittrail requirements.

Support & Operations – Provide 2nd/3rdline support, troubleshoot production incidents, perform rootcause analysis, and create runbooks.

Collaboration – Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Infrastructure teams to ensure endtoend solution integrity.

CI/CD & Automation – Create pipeline definitions (GitLab, DevOps, Jenkins) for automated build, unit/integration testing (JUnit, Test containers), container image creation and Kubernetes deployment.

Knowledge Sharing – Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to internal bestpractice libraries and documentation.

10+ years of experience in the Technology field including hands on in both development and L3 support roles.

Experience in providing communications across business and technology stakeholders at varying levels.

Experience in supporting multiple applications, establishing best practices processes and procedures.

Experience in planning, designing and executing effective support and process models

Understanding of Software process Models like Agile,



Waterfall etc.

Experience in Incident, Problem Management: Incident tracking & reporting; Experience in or participation in Capacity Planning, Re-Engineering, Performance Fine Tuning.

Desire experience in Infrastructure Migrations: Hands on experience in planning and executing DB Migrations, Server Migrations, Version Upgrades from the production support perspective.

Experience Level: At least 10 years

Strong handson experience with ApacheCamel (routing DSL, component development, Spring Boot integration).

Proficiency in SpringBoot (including Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Security).

Experience with messaging systems: Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, XSLT, and dataformat conversion.

Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift).

CI/CD pipelines (Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

Unit & integration testing (JUnit 5, Testcontainers, MockMVC).

Agile/Scrum delivery.

Understanding of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.

Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent
