Backend Engineer - Java Location: Pune, 5 days/week

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
Build and enhance web services, APIs, and web/mobile applications.
Write clean, productive, and maintainable code following development best practices.
Develop and maintain microservices-based applications.
Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
Integrate applications with databases, servers, network systems, and third-party APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in web application development.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring MVC, Node.js, and ORM frameworks .
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful/SOAP APIs.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and caching technologies.
- Familiarity with Angular, HTML5, CSS, and StencilJS .
- Hands-on experience integrating and troubleshooting third-party APIs , preferably financial/verification APIs such as Perfios, IDfy, Karza, NSDL, RBIH, and JanSamarth.
- Strong understanding of API authentication, request/response handling, error handling, and production issue resolution.
- Experience with application performance tuning and optimization.
- Proficiency in Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
