Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and RESTful services in a microservices-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and enhance Microservices-based applications following industry-standard design principles.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for communication between services and external systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable Java code.
- Work with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Implement exception handling, logging, validation, and API security.
- Work with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and production issue resolution.
- Develop unit and integration tests using tools such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, architects,



and product stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum workplace.
- Use Git for source-code management and contribute to CI/CD-based development processes.

Major / Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on Java development experience, preferably Java 8/11/17+.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot.
- Proven development experience in a Microservices environment.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and web services.
- Good knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate.
- Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle.
- Hands-on experience with JUnit/Mockito or equivalent testing frameworks.

Experience

- 5+ years of software development experience, with significant hands-on experience in Java backend development.
- Demonstrated project experience developing applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The candidate should have strong hands-on coding skills and be comfortable independently developing Java-based backend services. Practical experience with Java + Spring Boot + Microservices should be considered the primary screening criterion.
