Job Summary
Location: Bengaluru (or as applicable)
Duration: 6-12 months
Experience: 0-1 years
About the Role
This internship role will support Pixxel's Science Programme - the function responsible for research quality, publication governance, and external scientific and research partnerships. You'll work directly with the Vice President of Science and Technology Strategy; to keep the programme running smoothly: setting up processes, keeping existing ones on track, and acting as the point of contact for internal and external engagement with Pixxel on research or partnerships.
What You'll Do
Programme Process Ownership
- Maintain and periodically update Pixxel's science and research publication policy, ensuring it stays current with the company's evolving priorities.
- Serve as the single point of contact for employees seeking to publish research or attend conferences on Pixxel's behalf.
- Set up and coordinate a review committee for research publications/posters, working with relevant teams to ensure internal quality bars are met before external release.
- Build traceable, repeatable processes around publication approvals and reviews - visibility and auditability matter.
- Support shaping the Science Programme's short and long-term strategy.
Partnerships External Engagement
- Identify and help standardize areas of collaboration with industry, universities, and research labs.
- Source and engage potential partners, representing Pixxel in early conversations.
- Set up and coordinate meetings with prospective partners, and follow through to keep engagement momentum going.
- Act as the ongoing point of contact for Pixxel's existing partnerships, ensuring relationships stay active and well-managed.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Legal and Engineering to move partnership and publication conversations toward meaningful outcomes, not just activity.
- Flag risks or bottlenecks in the process early, and propose fixes.
What We're Looking For
- 0-1 years of experience; prior internship experience at a tech startup is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated exposure to partnerships, external stakeholder engagement, or process/operations work.
- Strong organizational instincts; you notice when a process is messy and want to fix it.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable representing the company externally.
- Ability to work independently across ambiguous, cross-functional problems.
- Keen interest in space, remote sensing, and/or the research/academic ecosystem (not mandatory, but helps).
Candidate Acumen

If you are a results-driven Image Product Manager with a global perspective and a passion for cutting-edge technology, we encourage you to apply and be a part of our visionary team.
