Meet the team: Define, design and verify ASIC and ASIC subsystems to be deployed in a range of Cisco platforms. Contribute to a multi-disciplined engineering team to meet the power, performance, and area goals for products. Design, document, and develop ASIC subsystems for release in high volume and quality. Help define the process, methods, and tools for design and implementation of complex developments.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance designs / ASICs from specification to tape-out
- Drive the definition, architecture and design of high-performance ASICs
- Own complex or multiple functional areas
- Develop reusable code for future projects
- Create reusable code
- Debug at ASIC, SW, HW level
- Lead design work by solving block level issues and participate in chip level issue resolution
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelo-3 years of related experience, or Masters years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in networking technologies
- Proven experience in meeting and delivering project milestones
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to audiences, spanning executives to junior engineers
- Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting and debugging
- Experience with Emulation and Formal Verification tools are a plus
