About Us:
Annapurna Agro India Private Limited is a leading industrial player specializing in agricultural processing, catering to government mandates and large-scale institutional requirements. We're looking for a seasoned Head Accountant to oversee financial operations and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end accounting, including daily cash/bank transactions, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements
- Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, company law regulations)
- Manage bank reconciliations and liaise with banks for credit facilities
- Lead a small accounts team in a fast-paced workplace
Leadership Role:
- Build and manage a team of 3-4 accountants, including task assignment and performance monitoring
- Frame and implement accounting policies, processes, and SOPs
- Ensure timely reporting and MIS for management decision-making
- Foster a culture of transparency, accuracy, and compliance within the team
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce/Accounting (CA Intermediate preferred)
- Proficiency in Tally ERP 9/Tally Prime and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting standards
- Coordination with CA and experience in manufacturing/rice milling industry preferred

You're a motivated accounting professional with 8-10 years of experience, preferably in the agricultural or rice manufacturing sector. You're based in or willing to relocate to Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh.
