Engineer - Order Management

Location - Bangalore

What you ll do

- Order Processing Execution: Manage third-party order execution from booking in SAP through to delivery by coordinating with internal teams and external customers to ensure revenue conversion aligns with the revenue plan.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate daily with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Stores Warehouse, and Finance teams to validate pricing, product availability, and resolve order-related issues or delays.
- Order Lifecycle Monitoring: Track and monitor the entire order lifecycle, including backlog and fulfillment status, providing timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Reporting Analysis: Prepare and maintain accurate reports on order fulfillment, backlog, and performance metrics using advanced Excel skills to support decision-making and month-end audit activities.
- Customer Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key communication bridge between customers, sales, and internal teams, ensuring clarity and prompt resolution of inquiries and modifications such as cancellations or returns.
- Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required to support cross-functional coordination or customer engagement as needed.

What you ll bring

Must-haves:

- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Production, or MBA with specialization in Order Management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP; Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics knowledge is also relevant.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively liaise with customers and internal teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Nice-to-haves

- 2-3 years of relevant experience in order management or order processing roles
- Experience in supply chain coordination and customer relationship management
- Familiarity with reporting on backlog, fulfillment, and performance metrics
- Ability to manage time effectively and maintain attention to detail in a rapid-paced environment
