NetScaler Engineer (Citrix ADC / NetScaler Gateway) Duration: 6-month Contract

Offshore India based US Work Hours: Central Time Position Overview We are seeking a NetScaler Engineer to design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot NetScaler application delivery and secure remote access solutions. This role supports application availability, performance, and security while working closely with network, infrastructure, security, and application teams.

Key Responsibilities
Configure and administer NetScaler ADC appliances in physical and virtual environments.
• Manage load balancing, content switching, application health monitoring, and traffic policies.
• Configure and support NetScaler Gateway for secure access to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates, SSL offloading, and secure application connectivity.
• Maintain high availability configurations and support disaster recovery requirements.
• Troubleshoot application delivery, authentication, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Integrate authentication services using LDAP, RADIUS, SAML, and multifactor authentication.
• Perform firmware upgrades, security updates, configuration backups, and platform maintenance.
• Monitor system health, capacity, and traffic patterns; recommend improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures.




• Participate in change management and provide after-hours support as needed. Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of network or infrastructure engineering experience, including 3+ years supporting NetScaler ADC and Gateway.
• Hands-on experience with load balancing, content switching, SSL/TLS, and high availability.
• Robust understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and firewall connectivity.
• Experience configuring authentication policies and troubleshooting remote access issues.
• Ability to analyze packet captures, system logs, and network traffic.
• Experience supporting production environments and resolving complex technical incidents.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience integrating NetScaler Gateway with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, StoreFront, and Citrix Workspace.
• Experience with NetScaler Web Application Firewall, global server load balancing, and advanced traffic management.
• Familiarity with NetScaler Console for centralized management and monitoring.
• Experience deploying or supporting NetScaler in AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or REST APIs.
• Relevant Citrix, NetScaler, networking, or cloud certifications. Education Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
