Job Summary Werywin Defence is looking for a skilled Line Quality Inspector with hands-on experience in CNC/VMC and turning machine component inspection. The candidate will be responsible for setup approvals, hourly in-process inspections, critical dimension control, and guiding final inspectors to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
1. Job Setup Approval: Inspect the first component after machine setup, tool changes, or program adjustments and approve production as per defined inspection criteria. 2. Hourly Process Inspection: Conduct hourly in-process inspections of components manufactured on CNC, VMC, and turning machines. 3. Critical Dimension Control: Monitor critical dimensions and ensure compliance with engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications. 4. Final Inspection Guidance: Guide and support final inspectors in inspection procedures, gauging methods, and acceptance criteria. 5. Gauging & Measurement: Ensure the correct use of gauges and precision measuring instruments for dimensional verification. 6. Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings to identify critical dimensions, tolerances, and inspection requirements. 7. Quality Documentation:



Ensure inspection check sheets are filled out accurately and maintained at every machine. 8. Non-Conformance Handling: Identify dimensional deviations, inform the concerned production team, and ensure non-conforming parts are properly identified and controlled. 9. Production Coordination: Coordinate with machine operators and production personnel to resolve quality issues and prevent defective components from progressing to the next stage. 10. Process Quality Monitoring: Ensure adherence to defined inspection procedures and maintain consistent quality throughout the manufacturing process. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection in a precision machining setting.
- Hands-on experience with CNC, VMC, and turning machine components.
- Knowledge of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining processes.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and interpreting dimensional tolerances.
- Practical knowledge of precision measuring instruments and gauges.
- Experience in first-piece inspection, setup approval, and hourly process inspection.
- Understanding of critical dimension control and in-process quality assurance.
- Good coordination and communication skills to work effectively with operators and final inspectors.
- Willingness to work in both shifts. Compensation Annual CTC: ₹3 LPA to ₹4 LPA, depending on the candidate's technical knowledge, practical inspection skills, and experience. Work Location On-site at Werywin Defence. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with their updated resume.
